Description:

FM Blake, a division of PCG, is the largest vendor for foster children’s Supplemental Security Income (SSI) advocacy in the country. We work with state and county-based social service agencies to obtain the highest possible disability allowance rates from the Social Security Administration (SSA) in the shortest possible time, with least disruption to the organization.

FM Blake is currently seeking a Clerical Assistant/Scanner for our Lewiston, ID office. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone and greet walk-in clientele.
  • Scan all initial claims into internal system
  • Scan and organize all allowed and final denial cases
  • Scan all new information received on pending cases then forward to SSA/DDS/ODAR.
  • Organize the scanned application on internal system
  • Mail required paperwork for each claim to SSA.
  • File paper copies of relevant claim information by account.
  • Coordinate shipping through UPS and FedEx.
  • Collect and organize outgoing mail.
  • Organize and distribute foster care case writing packets for case writers.
  • DDS Expedited Records process (ERE)
  • Copier/fax machine maintenance schedule.
  • Scan and burn files for Hearing Representatives

 Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of one-year training/experience that would provide the following skills.
  • Proper usage of English language including grammar, spelling and vocabulary.
  • Maintain a record keeping and follow-up system.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Be familiar with standard office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines and telephones. 
  • Be efficient in Word Processing and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Have working knowledge of telephone (multi-line system) and the proper etiquette including customer relation techniques.
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Must recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.
