Description:

The Customer Service Representative works with PPL’s multiple state clients to provide assistance and information to individuals with  disabilities (consumer) as well as service providers (employees of the consumer) related to tax information, timesheets, and payroll processing. The Customer Service Representative also provides critical information to our Boston-based payroll processing unit.  

Qualifications include:

  •  Some college experience is preferred but not required.
  • Telephone customer service experience.
  • Public-service oriented.
  • Ability to work with persons with disabilities. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Windows-based PC skills.
  • Ability to understand and work with financial accounting systems.
  • Ability to perform transaction entry, adjustments and document review in an automated payroll and accounts payable environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to write and speak Spanish desired.
  • Experience with or knowledge of American Indian tribes a plus.
