Description:

The Medicaid Claims Assistant (Schools Assistant) is highly responsible for medical claims work as it relates to reviewing/processing claims for school-based health care services.


The Schools Assistant organizes, maintains, and processes data utilized for Medicaid claim submittals.  This individual reviews claim documentation to extract data for automated files and reports. The position may also be responsible for tracking claims and maintaining a variety of records.


The Schools Assistant works in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff.   The teams’ goal is to provide superior service to large school districts in the areas of special education management systems, data warehousing, federal claiming, and other school based revenue programs.

Qualifications:

  •  High School Degree is required, Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and process data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including Access and Excel.
  • Medicaid claiming, schools (K-12) and/or special education experience a plus.
