Adult Protective Services

With growing numbers of older adults and physically and emotionally challenged adults living independently, states are continually re-evaluating the delivery of services to this specialized population.  Necessary services to protect the adult protective population are expansive, yet the services required to ensure their safety and well-being are sparsely funded.  Federal fund sources are available on a small scale so local, county, and state governments must evaluate the current system of care in place to determine what potential revenue maximization opportunities are available.  In addition to funding resources, accessing current business processes and developing strategic planning are critical components for government agencies to consider.
