Boston, MA, May 11, 2007 – Public Consulting Group (PCG) today announced it has acquired Merkurium Informatique Inc., ( www.merkurium.com ). a rapidly growing education services firm specializing in data warehousing and school improvement planning. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Montreal , Quebec , Merkurium's mission is to improve the overall performance of school systems by simplifying access to their strategic information. The company pioneered two education software offerings: SkoVision, a school improvement planning tool designed specifically for K-12; and Skopus, an integrated web-based data warehousing solution that allows educators to track and analyze key performance indicators to achieve academic and financial objectives.
