Public Consulting Group, (PCG) is pleased to be the new statewide vendor for the Pennsylvania Special Education School Based ACCESS Program (SBAP), beginning July 1, 2012.

Under SBAP, Pennsylvania LEAs are eligible to receive federal Medicaid reimbursement for medically necessary services provided to their special education students when the services meet the requirements of the state’s Medicaid program and are provided in accordance with the student’s IEP.

PCG is the leading school-based Medicaid claims vendor in the nation with over $3 billion in paid claims serving customers in 12 states.  Now, Pennsylvania schools will have access to PCG’s proven technology solution, EasyTrac™, for logging all health related services and submitting claims for reimbursement of costs for Medicaid eligible services.

We are excited to have the opportunity to expand our collaboration with Pennsylvania schools as the statewide vendor for SBAP.  PCG began serving Pennsylvania schools in January 2003 with the School District of Philadelphia.  At that time, PCG was selected to provide a special education case management system, EasyIEP™, for all school district personnel.  Subsequently, they began using EasyTrac for documentation and management of medically related services.

Like the School District of Philadelphia, thousands of other school districts across the country have been successfully using EasyTrac. Now, Pennsylvania schools, statewide, will begin using EasyTrac.
