The EdPlan™ Instructional Management System (EdPlan™ IMS): Curriculum Management module provides a practical solution to help educators create and manage meaningful and engaging curricular content.
The module gives educators the ability to collaborate and develop content that meets the needs of the district's learning population, along with extensive analysis capabilities with which to identify academic gaps. The system supports the most popular curriculum mapping and lesson planning frameworks and also gives districts the flexibility to create their own structures.
The first challenge in dropout prevention is the proper identification of warning signals that may indicate a student is at risk. EdPlan™ IMS Early Warning System gives school districts the ability to pay daily attention to the common distress signals sent by students at risk for dropping out of high school. By paying attention to these signals, districts can develop interventions to assist at-risk students and keep them on track to graduation.
The EdPlan™ Instructional Management System (EdPlan™ IMS): Educator Effectiveness module is a user-friendly tool that targets teaching and learning and allows users to evaluate a school or district's teaching staff more effectively and efficiently.
The module offers principals a comprehensive awareness of staff members, while engaging teachers in a reflective improvement process. It enables districts to evaluate all employees, provide a second evaluator when needed, and make decisions on instructional strategies and effectiveness based on comprehensive data.
The EdPlan™ Instructional Management System (EdPlan™ IMS): Gradebook module promotes day-to-day success in the classroom, across the campus, and across the district by giving teachers maximum flexibility to enter and manage grades any time, anywhere.
EdPlan™ IMS Gradebook integrates directly with the EdPlan™ IMS Asessment Management module and eliminates the need for manual entry of grades for scanned, online, or response pad-administered assessments. The color-coded system allows teachers to easily identify a student's grade range. The system also provides a simple process to add, edit, delete, drop, and score nonsystem graded assignments. District staff members can define multiple grading matrices/scales used in grade reporting.
The EdPlan™ IMS Reporting module is designed to give educators a detailed view of their students' performance as well as provide districts with data to assist in assessing the effectiveness of current practices and initiatives. With drill-down capabilities, EdPlan IMS Reporting allows users to easily switch from a comprehensive district view to a detailed, single student view.
