CGCS Hosts its 2012 Annual Legislative and Policy Conference

 

From March 17 through March 20, 2012, the Council of Great City Schools (CGCS) hosted its Legislative and Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. The agenda included updates on the Department of Education (ED) budget and appropriations, the U.S. Census and Title I funding, the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) reauthorization, the Child Nutrition Act reauthorization, and the American Jobs Act.
