Teachers and Administrators Suspected of Tampering with Student Test Results

States Seek to Avoid Compliance with NCLB Pending Congressional Rewrite

Criteria Proposed for the Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge

 

On July 1, 2011 the U.S. Department of Education (ED) published the proposed competition criteria for the Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge (ELC). The ELC is funded with $500 million of the $700 million Congress allocated for the Race to the Top program in the FY 2011 budget passed in April.
