Boston, MA, January, 2012 – The Hawai’I Department of Human Services MedQuest Division (Medicaid) has awarded a contract to PCG to assist the state in obtaining a new Medicaid eligibility system that is compliant with the requirements of the Affordable Care Act. The scope of work includes gathering and documenting Medicaid eligibility business processes and systems requirements, with an initial goal of replacing the legacy Medicaid eligibility system. Boston, MA, January, 2012 – PCG Health was recently selected as the state of California’s Health Care Options (HCO) Program consultant. HCO coordinates activities in the managed care counties that include outreach, oversight of beneficiary education, and processing plan enrollment and disenrollments. PCG will help the program to define a business model to ensure that its Enrollment Broker contract has the ability to accommodate health care reform changes to Medi-Cal over the coming years. [More]

Austin, TX, January, 2012 – The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) has awarded PCG Health a contract to complete a rate study for community-based rates for mental health and substance abuse services. This project is mandated as a result of a federal settlement agreement filed by advocates that questioned the adequacy of community-based service delivery options. As part of the settlement agreement, DBHDD is required to hire an outside contractor to develop rates that will adequately reimburse providers their cost for the provision of services and sufficiently recognizes the resource and acuity differences depending upon the service setting, practitioner rendering the services, and geographic differences across the state, among other pertinent factors. Tallahassee, FL, January, 2012 – The Florida Department of Education has contracted with PCG Education to support 10 rural school districts to build internal leadership capacity to assist in their school turnaround efforts. The 18-month project includes development, dissemination, and use of customized training modules and a rural leadership model for the state of Florida. PCG is partnering with three FL consortia partners to provide onsite professional development and strategic planning support to leadership teams in the participating district. [More]
