Rhode Island Wins Approval of Health Home Programs

 

The Rhode Island Department of Human Services (DHS) has become the second Medicaid agency in the nation to win approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of Medicaid plan amendments under which the state will qualify for 90 percent federal financial participation (FFP) on “health home” services under section 2703 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). New York Launches Health Homes Initiatives

 

The New York Department of Health began accepting applications from provider organizations on August 1 for participation in its Medicaid health homes program for individuals with chronic medical and behavioral health conditions.
