Boston, MA, October, 2012 – PCG Education’s Focus on Results (FOR) team was recently awarded a contract, as a subcontractor to Mathematica Policy Research, to support an implementation and impact evaluation to inform high-quality expanded learning time (ELT). Adding time to the regular school day or school year (known as ELT) is an initiative in education that has recently garnered increased policy emphasis, but there is limited research on the impact of these programs. The FOR team and Mathematica will be working with the U.S. Department of Education to formally evaluate schools that received federal funds to support ELT. [More]

Boston, MA, June 20, 2012 – Public Consulting Group (PCG) today announced that it has acquired Focus On Results (FOR), a provider of K-12 instruction and learning consulting services based in Boston, Massachusetts and Huntington Beach, California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. FOR will join the PCG Education division of PCG.
