PCG Acquires Xperts Educational Products (XEP)

Deal Expands PCG’s K-12 Student Data Management Capabilities

Boston, MA, January 13, 2009 – Public Consulting Group (PCG) today announced it has acquired the Xperts Educational Products (XEP) division of Xperts, Inc., a Richmond, Virginia-based information technology services company.  Terms of the transaction, effective January 1, 2009, were not disclosed.  

In 1997, XEP developed iep.online®, the education industry’s first fully web-based individualized education plan (IEP) management solution. Together with PCG’s EasyIEP™ and GoalView™ systems, the purchase of XEP and the iep.online® suite of education products brings the number of  special education students served by PCG’s online IEP management tools to roughly 976,000, strengthening PCG Education’s national leadership in web-based special education management.  

iep.online® is a comprehensive special education management system that streamlines the ability of teachers and administrators to identify and manage referrals, IEPs, and reporting, while delivering results to the most important people in the special education process – the students.
