Ohio Selects PCG Public Partnerships to Conduct Statewide Training for Waiver Program

 

Boston, MA, April, 2012 – The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities has selected PCG Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL) to design and conduct statewide training, including national best practices for support brokers and other stakeholders involved in the state’s Self-Empowered Life Funding (SELF) waiver program. U.S. Labor Dept Announces $12 Million Workforce and Education Grant Program

 

Washington, D.C., March 6,2012 – U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis recently announced a $12 million grant program through the Workforce Data Quality Initiative to help states build or expand longitudinal databases that link workforce and education data to improve understanding about the performance of workforce development programs among those who benefit from and make decisions about them. Federal Grants Will Create Consumer-Driven Health Insurance Plans in 2014

 

On February 21, 2012, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that seven organizations will receive a total of $639 million in federal low-interest loans to launch new, consumer-governed health insurance plans in eight states. The plans, authorized by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), are scheduled to open for business in 2014 and primarily will serve people under age 65 in the individual and small-group insurance markets. State of Georgia Awards IV&V Project to PCG Technology Consulting

 

Sacramento, CA February 23, 2012 – Public Consulting Group (PCG) today announced that the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA), on behalf of the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) has awarded its PCG Technology Consulting (PCG TC) division a contract to carry out Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) on its Health Care Eligibility System project. This is a four-year contract for PCG in Atlanta that started in January, 2012.

CA Dept of Transportation Selects PCG TC for IV&V

 

Sacramento, CA, February, 2012 – The California Department of Transportation, owner and operator of the CA highway and freeway system, has awarded PCG Technology Consulting (PCG TC) a two-year Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) contract for its Construction Management System (CMS) project. PCG To Assist State of CA with Health Care Reform Project

 

Boston, MA, January, 2012 – PCG Health was recently selected as the state of California’s Health Care Options (HCO) Program consultant. HCO coordinates activities in the managed care counties that include outreach, oversight of beneficiary education, and processing plan enrollment and disenrollments. Georgia Selects PCG for Community-Based Rates Study

 

Austin, TX, January, 2012 – The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) has awarded PCG Health a contract to complete a rate study for community-based rates for mental health and substance abuse services. This project is mandated as a result of a federal settlement agreement filed by advocates that questioned the adequacy of community-based service delivery options. As part of the settlement agreement, DBHDD is required to hire an outside contractor to develop rates that will adequately reimburse providers their cost for the provision of services and sufficiently recognizes the resource and acuity differences depending upon the service setting, practitioner rendering the services, and geographic differences across the state, among other pertinent factors. Florida Selects PCG for School Turnaround Project
