Individual Provider One Medicaid claim billing system to replace Social Service Payment System for 40,000 in-home workers in Washington State

BOSTON, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 1, 2016 PCG Public Partnerships, LLC., and Washington State will implement a new billing and payroll system for individual in-home personal care and respite Medicaid claims. The system, called Individual Provider One (IPOne), is an online, electronic system designed to make claims easier for providers. It will also comply with federal laws as well as the requirements of the SEIU collective bargaining requirement for bi-monthly payments. Public Partnerships Reaching Out to Participants and Workers with Incomplete Payroll Information

PPL has been working for months with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, program participants and direct care workers to help them come into compliance with the rules as established by the Department’s Office of Long Term Living and the federal government. Due to this outreach, most people in the program are not at risk of an interruption in their pay. However, PPL urges anyone who may be affected to comply with the rules so all workers can receive their appropriate pay for the care they provide to participants in the program.
