PCG Technology Consulting Continues Work with Arizona Corrections

PCG Technology Consulting (TC) recently extended its ongoing work with the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) to provide assistance in implementing its new Offender Management System. For the past two years, TC has worked with the ADC to define its system requirements and procure a vendor to design, develop, and implement a new solution to replace its aging COBOL legacy system. Contract Extension with Nevada Healthcare Exchange and Division of Welfare & Supportive Services

In 2012, the state of Nevada initiated two projects to support the Affordable Care Act - one that would result in a new business rules engine to store all of the eligibility rules for publicly-subsidized health coverage programs at the Department of Health and Human Services ($23M for design, development, and implementation), and another that would provide the technical infrastructure for an online marketplace and customer service center to support the operations of the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange ($72M for design, development, and implementation). PCG Technology Consulting Wins More IV&V Work in Colorado

PCG Technology Consulting was recently awarded a contract by the Colorado Office of Information Technology (OIT) to perform IV&V services for the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Reporting System Project. The statewide Hotline is being installed by Century Link in county offices of the Department of Human Services across the state. This project is an early step for Colorado in its goal to improve interoperability between state systems supporting child welfare. TC performs IV&V for several OIT projects in Colorado; this is the most recent addition to earlier successful bids from the IV&V MSA.

PCG TC Wins Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS) Project IV&V Services

PCG Technology Consulting (TC) was recently awarded a contract by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services for the Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS) Project. HWTS is being rebuilt and upgraded to minimize the high risk of failure of the current system. First 5 Alameda County Selects PCG to Assist with Application Hosting Transition

First 5 Alameda County is an innovative public entity created by passage of Proposition 10 in 1998 which, through a tobacco tax, helps fund early care and education for children ages 0 to five. The agency's mission is to support a county-wide continuous prevention and early intervention system that promotes optimal health and development, narrows disparities and improves the lives of children 0 to five and their families. First 5 supports a comprehensive system of early childhood care that helps prepare kids for success in school and life. Supporting First 5's programs are three custom developed, Web-based information systems. First 5 has requested assistance from PCG in identifying and selecting a new application hosting vendor for these systems. PCG's tasks include documenting the agency's hosting requirements, conducting a marketplace analysis, evaluation of specific application hosting vendors, and ultimately a recommendation for the vendor best suited to meet First 5's needs.

PCG Technology Consulting was recently awarded separate contracts to provide IT consulting services to support two California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) mission-critical projects: the Entity Portal Project and the Transportation Portal Project.
