Portsmouth, NH, May, 2009 – Julie Meltzer, Ph.D., Senior Advisor for Research, Strategy, and Development at PCG Education’s Center for Resource Management (PCG-CRM), recently presented two well-received sessions at the International Reading Association’s 54th Annual Convention North Central in Minneapolis, MN. Julie presented, “Putting Systems in Place to Support Content Literacy and Learning in Middle and High Schools,” along with Judi Irvin, Executive Director, National Literacy Project (NLP). In a second presentation, Ms. Meltzer presented, “Lighting the Way to Literacy Change: Middle School Success Stories” with long-time PCG-CRM client Mark Hatch from Messalonskee Middle School, Oakland, ME, where PCG-CRM has supported a school-wide literacy improvement initiative for the past four years.
