Boston, MA, July 20, 2010 – Public Consulting Group (PCG), a national leader is SSI/SSDI eligibility and enrollment services, and NTELX, a data-driven decision analytics firm, have partnered to help state and local child welfare, public assistance, and Medicaid agencies more efficiently identify and enroll eligible recipients and enroll candidates for federal Social Security benefits. By doing so, PCG and NTELX will allow cash-strapped agencies to generate additional federal revenue and control costs while providing welcome assistance to children and adults in need.
PCG is the nation’s largest vendor for child welfare and public assistance agency Supplemental Security Administration (SSA) disability benefits advocacy. PCG works with state and county-based social service agencies to obtain the highest possible disability allowance rates in the shortest possible time, with least disruption to agency operations. The firm has been offering disability benefits services since 1989, with several thousand SSI/SSDI applications filed annually.
NTELX will apply its complex operational decision analytics solutions to help PCG more quickly and accurately identify persons likely to be accepted for SSI/SSDI coverage. NTELX predictive modeling and grading solutions, will be used to analyze Medicaid claims and other clinical information to identify recipients with the highest likelihood of meeting the SSA disability criteria.
The combined NTELX and PCG solution allows states to better control their Medicaid costs while providing additional assistance to children and adults in need, helping cash-strapped state governments save money without cutting benefits. For example, PCG has helped Illinois Department of Children and Family Services’ to receive approximately $16 million in federal revenue with over 2,500 children enrolled onto SSI and will help the state this year to exceed its baseline performance expectations by over 35 percent.
Five states have already contracted PCG to apply individuals on their behalf for the SSI program.
