Boston, MA, March 8, 2011 – Public Consulting Group (PCG) CEO Bill Mosakowski, a long time supporter of CARE® and its mission to end global poverty, recently hosted a reception at PCG’s Boston headquarters for CARE Senior Director Monte Allen and CARE Egypt Education Program Director Areeg Hegazi. Mr. Allen spoke to interested PCG staff members about the humanitarian organization’s special focus on working with poor women around the globe who, he explained, are the most potentially powerful change agents and who have the power to help whole families and communities escape poverty when given the proper resources.
Ms. Hegazi informed the group about CARE’s efforts to educate girls in poor, rural communities in Egypt and answered many questions from PCG staff members about the recent popular uprising in Egypt and its impact on CARE’s activities in the country.
