Boston, MA, October, 2011 - PCG Human Services helped the state of North Carolina win a federal grant to study the effects of removing the eligibility interview from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The study is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the evaluation will be performed by Mathematica Policy Research. The study will test whether waiving the eligibility interview for SNAP benefits affects participation, efficiency, customer access, payment accuracy, administrative costs, and staff and customer satisfaction. PCG will assist North Carolina in site selection, business process design, and overall project management. For more information: pcghumanservices@publicconsultinggroup.com.
