EdPlan™ is the first web-based system in Poland that supports schools in complying with the special needs education legislation passed on November 2010. EdPlan™ enables schools to create special needs education documentation electronically, providing secure access to student records and full compliance with the new law. EdPlan™ substantially reduces administrative burden related to development of paper documentation and helps schools provide high quality education services to students with special educational needs.

EdPlan™ is an exceptionally intuitive tool accessible through a web browser from virtually any computer connected to the Internet. Schools interested in implementing EdPlan™ need to simply register their users in the system (teachers, specialists and principals) and securely import their student data. After receiving individual logins and passwords, the system users are granted access to the personalized lists of students and can begin developing special education documentation.

EdPlan™ enables flawless data import from most of the Student Information Systems (SIS) available in the Polish market. This means that the schools which are currently using any SIS system for managing their student data will be able to generate a data file which will then be securely imported to EdPlan™. Thanks to the import functionality teachers are able to develop/create/work on documents for students immediately after the system’s implementation with no need to enter the student data manually.

Based on the agreement signed between Public Consulting Group and Librus, EdPlan™ system became fully integrated with the Student Information System offered by Librus. Schools which are currently using Librus’ SIS will be able to activate EdPlan™ as an additional service. Thanks to the integration, the data once inserted to the Librus SIS system will be automatically loaded to EdPlan and updated on a daily basis. The integrated solution saves time for the schools and guarantees integrity of students’ and teachers’ data. The single sign-on (SSO) functionality allows users to log in once and gain access to both systems avoiding the hassle of remembering and logging into EdPlan with an additional password.

The annual license fee for the use of EdPlan™ system is determined by the total number of students attending a given school. The fee includes access to EdPlan™ system for an unlimited number of users at a single school, system updates meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Education, import of student data, end-user training, technical support and data hosting on secure PCG servers. Schools will not incur any additional costs related to the implementation of EdPlan™. The prices given below are gross prices and can be further negotiated for the group implementations at the local government level.
