On July 11, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) requested comments on information collection for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Household Report. The information on assisted and applicant LIHEAP households would provide data on the use of LIHEAP funds and would be used for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ annual LIHEAP Report to Congress. The data elements would be also be used to calculate LIHEAP cost efficiency and LIHEAP performance measures under the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993.
