Public Consulting Group (PCG) has been made aware of a new phishing scam targeting job applicants. Individuals report receiving job offers via email that appear to come from PCG with requests for payment.

Each summer, PCG welcomes a diverse, talented group of students into our eight- to 10-week paid Internship Program which spans three functional areas across the firm: Consulting, Technology, and Corporate Operations. Because PCG serves the public sector exclusively, every PCG intern – regardless of functional area – has the opportunity to support those in our communities who need it most. Since 1986, this public sector focus has set PCG apart from other management consulting firms; we are proud of the more than 35 years we have spent designing and delivering solutions that improve how government operates and how it best serves those who depend on it. Interns may play a direct role, working on a client’s project team, for example, or an indirect role, assisting an operations team in service to our client project teams—either way, all of our interns contribute to the firm’s mission of improving government to advance positive outcomes community.

About the Program
PCG’s paid internship program runs for 10 weeks* between June and August each year, during which time, interns may work up to 40 hours per week. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all internships are currently remote. Though program size varies each year, PCG typically welcomes an intern class of 40-50 students. Interns are empowered to make the most of their experience at PCG through program-specific as well as company-wide activities (all of which are currently virtual), such as:
- Professional development and networking opportunities
- Career and general skills building
- Lunch and learns
- Weekly group events
- Leadership speaker series
- And more!
