PCG wins first independent contract for newly-formed EA business line

news

PCG's technology consulting division was recently awarded a new contract to provide Strategic Planning and Enterprise Architecture (EA) support services to the California Department of Health Care Services, Office of Systems Integration (OSI). PCG TC will assist the State’s efforts to implement the California Health and Human Services Agency (CHHSA) Technical Strategic Plan and evolve the Agency Enterprise Architecture program.

During the next 12 months, the PCG team will focus their efforts on promoting technology alignment across all CHHSA departments and proactively advancing strategic initiatives towards achieving the CHHSA’s target architecture. To meet these objectives, PCG’s team will work with the State to develop a Shared Services Strategy as well as a Data Sharing Strategy that will provide a roadmap for future CHHSA projects; an inventory of current and future shared services within CHHSA systems; and an agency-wide data collection process to capture application and business functions within CHHSA projects.

This contract is the first independent win for PCG's newly-formed EA line of business and represents a significant opportunity to build the EA team’s reputation with tangible results.  Partnering with California at the agency level also gives PCG tremendous visibility of, and the ability to shape and influence the transformation of technology adopted by, the state.
