    Twelve Massachusetts Disproportionate Share Hospitals (DSH) win $6 million in Medicare reimbursement in federal district court

    On October 26, 2018, Judge Ketanji Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that certain patient days for individuals in the Commonwealth Care program should be included in calculating DSH Medicare reimbursement for 12 Massachusetts hospitals serving large numbers of poor patients.

    On October 24, 2018, the President signed H.R. 6, the Support for Patients and Communities Act. The new legislation contains amendments to Medicaid, Medicare, and other federal laws to address the opioid crisis.

    Helping Regis College students shine

    On Thursday, October 18th, Regis College held its annual Let It Shine Gala at the Boston Park Plaza, treating the more than 300 guests in attendance to an inspirational evening supporting higher education. PCG Principal Stephen Skinner co-chaired the Gala, which raised more than $900,000 dollars in scholarship funds for Regis students.

    California’s FI$Cal project experiences continued success

    Since 2010, PCG’s Technology Consulting practice has partnered with the State of California to procure and implement one of the largest public sector enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects in the nation - the Financial Information System for the State of California (FI$Cal). PCG has provided assistance with procurement, served in a technical advisory role, and currently provides independent verification and validation (IV&V) services.
